So the bridesmaids dresses are in. Yay! They are GORGEOUS! Wine was definitely a good choice...it's not too red, not too purple...plus I like to drink it ;-)
Now the question is...shoes and jewelry. I want my bridesmaids to have the same shoes. Now do I want to spend the money on buying dyeables so we can get the exact same color? Or should I just go with a generic color (which also saves some moolah)? I could have their shoes be champagne-hued (champagne is our accent color)...I think that would be easier to find. But does that look weird? Wine dress, beige shoes?

Yes to Same Shoes - if your bridesmaids dresses are going to be showing anything below the knees or will be taking feet shots (ew?). If you can't afford it, you can always ask. =)
No to Same Shoes - if they are going to be covered by the dress majority of the time.
I had the girls wear silver shoes. I didn't care what they wore since it was being covered by the dress and as long as they were open-toed and silver. The plus was that I didn't have to spend anymore money, the girls didn't really have to buy a pair of new silver shoes, and they were comfortable.
When I was in my Ate's wedding, she had us wear matching color dyed shoes. That was the one and only time I used them.
